Holly is an alumnus of the Pitch Wars 2017 class and speaks at conferences and on podcasts about freelance writing and writing in the parenting space.
Holly holds a BA in Communications from The American University with a concentration in writing and a minor in theater. She takes continuing education courses in journalism and creative writing with top industry professionals such as Sue Shapiro, Estelle Erasmus, Elise Valmorbida, and Michelle Cameron at The Writer’s Circle Workshops.
Holly is passionate about helping interfaith families, including her own, find community and support. In addition to writing about the topic often, she has spoken at her local synagogue, Congregation Bnai Jeshurun, about her experience rearing children in a multi-religious family. The Forward quoted her thoughts on Conservative Judaism.
Holly studied improv rap at Freestyle Love Supreme Academy and teaches preschool children drama and creative play.
